Halimah Yacob; Straits Times

In her state visit to China earlier in the week, President Halimah Yacob told China officials that the country’s “success” come from ‘decades of hard work’ put in the by the ruling party PAP government.

The Indian-ethnic Malay President even falsely claimed that there is meritocracy, justice and equality in the Lee Hsien Loong dictatorship:

“Harmony is not achieved easily or by chance. It is the result of continuous hard work and deliberate policies based on the rule of law, meritocracy, justice and equality.”

The former PAP MP of 20 years recited her scripts blabbering about racial harmony and fairness in front of disappointed Chinese leaders, who did not realise the President position in Singapore is only a figurehead with no powers.

Wasting the time of Chinese officials including Premier Li Ke Qiang and President Xi Jin Ping, President Halimah Yacob went on about the history of Singapore without making any concrete discussion about trade, diplomacy, the Belt and Road Initiative or the US military presence in South China Sea. The S$1.54 million-a-year President has no qualifications or power to negotiate Singapore policies with China either.
